Armitage III: Poly Matrix

In the year 2046, humans are growing increasingly distrustful of robots, abandoning their use and making life dangerous for the latest known model-the "seconds." Detective Ross Sylibus lives in this world, still haunted by the death of his partner at the hands of a robot. He requests a transfer to Mars, hoping for a fresh start, but his arrival plunges him straight into a murder case: a country singer on his flight has been killed. Stepping off the plane, he witnesses the chaotic aftermath and meets his new partner, Armitage, a tough and abrasive female officer. As more women are murdered, the investigation takes a dark turn when a hidden truth surfaces: there’s a secret line of robots called "thirds," and someone is systematically hunting them down. The killer’s rampage leaves more thirds missing or dead. Amid the chaos, Armitage makes a shocking confession in her pursuit of justice-she herself is a third.
