Just before the new semester begins, Misaki Fujioka visits her twin sister Mei Misaki in Yomiyama City. The two spend their last days of summer wandering the sweltering town, stopping by a shopping center and a shooting stall. While exploring Mei’s basement, she shares her unease about her new class, rumored to be cursed. Wanting to squeeze in more fun, the twins head to a nearby amusement park. But their lazy summer day takes a dark turn when Mei notices the "color of death" on her sister-a clear sign that something terrible is about to happen.
