Hikari Kohinata and Futaba Ooki share a deep bond through scuba diving and the simple pleasures of everyday life. Hikari grew up in a quiet coastal town on Izu, while Futaba moved there from Tokyo. Despite their differences, they quickly became close friends after meeting at Yumegaoka High. The shy and reserved Futaba found balance in Hikari’s bright, upbeat personality, and their friendship helped her embrace new experiences. After earning her Open Water Diver certification, Futaba is now working toward the next step: the Advanced Open Water Diver qualification.
