50 Delicacies For Guests - S01

On an ordinary day after school, Suzuko meets Shu, a neighbor's child, in the park and offers to walk him home. But their journey ends in disaster when a massive gas explosion engulfs them. Instead of dying, Suzuko wakes up on a corpse-strewn battlefield in Japan's violent Sengoku era. When a gang of bandits attacks her, she's saved by Shukumaru, a boy scavenging the dead to feed his starving village. Though Suzuko stays in the village, she keeps searching for Shu, returning to the battlefield each day with Shukumaru reluctantly following. Despite his rough, unrefined ways, she slowly finds herself warming to him. As she navigates this brutal chapter of history, what future-if any-awaits her?
