50 Delicacies For Guests
One ordinary day, Suzuko runs into Shu, a neighbor’s child, in the park on her way home from school and offers to walk back with him. But their journey ends in disaster when a massive gas explosion engulfs them. Instead of dying, Suzuko wakes up in the middle of a war-torn battlefield during the Sengoku period, surrounded by corpses. When marauding bandits attack her, she’s saved by Shukumaru, a boy scavenging the dead to feed his starving village. Though they return to the village together, Suzuko can’t stop searching for Shu and keeps returning to the battlefield, with Shukumaru reluctantly following. Despite his rough, uncivilized ways, she slowly finds herself growing attached to him. What lies ahead for this girl trapped in one of Japan’s bloodiest eras?
