Zoids: Genesis - S01

A thousand years after natural disasters nearly wiped out life on the planet Zi, humanity has slowly rebuilt civilization by recovering ancient Zoids from the depths. In one village, the people revere a massive sword as a sacred relic. During a deep-sea salvage mission, a teenage boy stumbles upon an old Liger-type Zoid. Before long, the village comes under attack by skeletal Bio-Zoids hunting for a powerful generator hidden there. The boy awakens the Liger and learns the village's holy sword is actually the Zoid's weapon. Together, they manage to drive off the strange invaders-but the threat may not be over yet.
