ZatsuTabi -That's Journey- - S01

Chika Suzugamori, an 18-year-old aspiring manga artist, has just faced rejection-three of her drafts turned down in one day. Her editor advises her to draw from her personal interests, but Chika, a homebody who lives and breathes manga, doesn’t know where to start. Feeling stuck, she impulsively decides to escape it all and take a trip somewhere. After posting an online poll on a whim, she follows the results and boards a train north from Tokyo, embarking on a spontaneous solo journey. When she reaches the summit of Mount Haguro in Aizu-Wakamatsu, she finds herself unexpectedly recharged and inspired. Even if her work gets rejected again, Chika resolves to keep traveling across Japan, whether alone or with friends, old and new.
