Yozakura Quartet - S01

The world of "Yozakura Quartet" consists of two realms-one for humans and one for youkai. While youkai often resemble humans, they may have animal-like features and unique supernatural abilities. Though they usually remain in their own world, some have crossed into the human realm. To foster peace between the two, the city of Sakurashin was built under the protection of the Seven Pillars, a barrier formed by seven magical trees. The Hizumi Life Counseling Office works to uphold harmony in this shared city. Leading the office is Akina Hiizumi, a young man with the inherited power of "tuning," which allows him to banish dangerous youkai back to their world. He is supported by three girls: Hime Yarizakura, the 16-year-old youkai mayor of the town; Ao Nanami, a telepathic announcer; and Kotoha Isone, a half-youkai who can materialize objects simply by speaking their names. When strange incidents arise and new arrivals unsettle the city’s balance, this group of defenders-along with their allies-must protect Sakurashin and preserve the delicate peace between humans and youkai.
