Wolf's Rain - S01

In a dying world, an old legend persists: when the world meets its end, the gate to paradise will open. This utopia is the last hope for the few survivors clinging to life in the wasteland-but according to the tale, only wolves can find their way there. Though believed to be extinct, wolves still exist, hiding among humans through intricate disguises. A lone wolf named Kiba is lured to Freeze City, a destitute town ruled by the cruel Lord Orkham, by a mysterious and irresistible scent. There, he meets three other wolves-Hige, Tsume, and Toboe-who have also been drawn by the same fragrance. Guided by the scent of "Lunar Flowers," said to hold the key to unlocking their fabled paradise, the wolves embark on a journey through ruined lands and decaying cities in search of their promised salvation. Yet they are not alone in their quest, and darker forces will stop at nothing to reach paradise first.
