Witch Watch - S02

In ancient times, certain witches wed their familiars-creatures who had assumed human form-resulting in a lineage of ogres. Morihito Otogi is one such descendant. Though he looks entirely human, he still possesses the superhuman strength of his ancestors. Nico Wakatsuki, a young witch and Morihito's childhood friend, once left for the Witches' Holy Land to complete her training, forcing them to separate. Years later, just as Morihito is about to start high school, Nico returns with a clear purpose: to make him her familiar. While most witches choose animals like cats or bats, Nico has her sights set on Morihito-for reasons beyond just magic. Though he seems unaware of her deeper feelings, the two end up living together under one roof, with both of Morihito's parents absent. Reluctant at first, Morihito eventually embraces his new role, committed to helping Nico reintegrate into human society and shielding her from an impending fate.
