Umamusume: Pretty Derby - S01

From a young age, horse girls Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond looked up to their idol, Toukai Teiou, dreaming of one day following in her footsteps. To pursue their goals, they join Tracen Academy, a school that trains horse girls for elite racing. Kitasan Black quickly earns a spot on Team Spica, the same team as Teiou, and rides a winning streak until her first defeat in a Grade 1 (G1) race-the highest tier of competition. Though shaken, she refuses to give up, vowing to push herself further and prove her worth as a horse girl. At the same time, Satono Diamond carries the weight of her family’s legacy. Despite their extraordinary speed, no one in her lineage has ever won a G1 race. Now, it’s her turn to change that and finally secure the honor her family has long sought.
