Ascheriit was once revered as the empire's greatest swordsman, but after defeating the dark forces of Wischtech, he was betrayed and murdered by seven of his own comrades. Two decades later, his name is cursed while his killers are celebrated as the legendary Seven Heroes. Yet Ascheriit does not stay dead. Reborn as a half-elf named Köinzell, he returns with a single purpose: vengeance against those who wronged him. Along the way, he finds allies who share his desire for justice. Together, they will tear down the false legacy of the Seven Heroes, no matter the cost, until Köinzell finally finds peace.
