Trinity Blood - S01
トリニティ・ブラッド
After the devastation of Armageddon, humanity struggles against a new threat: vampires. The endless clashes between humans and vampires have divided the world into opposing factions. The vampire race, known as the Methuselah, align with the New Human Empire, while humans-called Terrans by their enemies-form the Vatican Papal State. Despite efforts to avoid open war, extremist factions like the Rosenkreuz Order push to reignite the conflict. To counter these threats, the Vatican deploys the AX unit, a team led by Cardinal Caterina Sforza that investigates vampire-related disturbances, hoping to one day achieve peace between Terrans and Methuselah. Among the AX agents is Abel Nightroad, a kind but absent-minded priest who transforms into a ruthless vampire slayer in battle. Partnered with him is Sister Esther Blanchett, a courageous yet troubled young nun haunted by her past. As Abel and Esther grow closer, they uncover signs of sinister plots and hidden enemies. But their journey is fraught with hardship, forcing them to confront the painful memories that weigh on their hearts.
