On what should have been just another normal day, Lala Satalin Deviluke brings one of her latest inventions-a robotic cat that can clone things-to school, hoping to show it off to Rito Yuuki. But when Rito accidentally touches the device, he starts duplicating uncontrollably, and before long, the school is swarming with copies of him. The only way to stop the cat is to grab its tail, but it’s quick and hard to catch. Can Rito and his countless clones manage to seize it in time, or will the planet be overrun by an endless tide of duplicates?
