This Ugly Yet Beautiful World - S01

High school student Takeru Takemoto works part-time as a motorcycle courier. While making a delivery, he spots a strange light speeding past him before suddenly finding himself in a forest. There, he encounters a beautiful girl emerging from a glowing cocoon-she introduces herself as "Hikari." Before Takeru can process the awkwardness of her being naked, a bizarre monster appears and attacks them both. In the chaos, both Takeru and Hikari unleash hidden powers, though Takeru has no idea what’s happening or why.
