The Mysterious Cities of Gold - S04

In 1532, twelve-year-old Esteban is an orphan from Barcelona with an unusual ability-he can command the sun to appear, earning him the name "Child of the Sun." After his adoptive father dies, Esteban discovers he was rescued as a baby from a sinking ship. The mysterious medallion he has worn since infancy points to a connection in the New World, possibly linked to the legendary Mysterious Cities of Gold. Determined to uncover his origins and find his parents, Esteban sets sail from Spain. During his journey, he meets Zia, an Inca girl who was taken from her people years earlier. She wears an identical medallion, deepening the mystery. They are later joined by Tao, a boy from the Galapagos Islands and the last descendant of the ancient Empire of Heva, which is said to have constructed the Cities of Gold. Guided by Coyolite, the shining star depicted on their medallions, the three children venture across the uncharted New World. Together, they pursue the fabled Cities of Gold, hoping the path will lead them to their lost families.
