The Girl in Twilight - S01

The urban legend of the 4:44 ritual claims that by playing specific frequencies on a radio in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree at exactly 4:44, people can be sent to another dimension. Asuka Tsuchimiya and her friends-Nana Nanase, Mia Silverstone, Yuu Tounaka, and Chloe Morisu-decide to try it as part of their Crystal Radio Research Club activities. To their shock, the ritual works, transporting them to a parallel world called a "fragment." There, they encounter an eerily familiar girl-another version of Asuka, nicknamed "Seriouska" for her stern demeanor and combat skills. Seriouska warns them about the Twilight, a force erasing possibilities across all parallel worlds. She reveals her mission: to kill the Twilight King, the man responsible for the multiverse’s destruction. As the five girls search for the Twilight King, they must also confront their own identities and insecurities. But the key to stopping the Twilight may be nearer than they realize.
