The Fire Hunter - S01

After fleeing a brutal attack, Touko ends up stranded in a city under siege by the Spiders, a group of people with deadly supernatural powers. She came to the city to return the belongings of Haijuu, a fire hunter who died shielding her from harm. With help from Haijuu's loyal dog, Kanata, and Akira, another fire hunter who has guarded her on her journey, she tries to navigate the chaos. But when Akira is called away, Touko is left alone in the midst of the fighting, forced to forge her own path. Elsewhere, Haijuu's son, Koushi, works to defend the city. Though he lacks physical strength, his cleverness has led him to create formidable weapons, including a devastating cannon that summons lightning to strike down the invaders. This power, however, draws the wrath of the god Hibari, who sees it as an affront to the divine. As the schemes of gods and humans alike begin to unravel, Touko and Koushi must fight to survive the turmoil closing in around them.
