The Beast Player Erin - S01
In the kingdom of Ryoza, the provinces of Shin-Ou and Tai-Kou have long coexisted peacefully. Queen Shinou rules the land, while Grand Duke Taikou, her most trusted general, commands the kingdom's defenses with his fearsome army of war-lizards called "Touda." Though their alliance has held for years, growing unease now threatens to plunge the nation into civil war. In the Tai-Kou village of Ake, where the Grand Duke's Touda are raised, a young girl named Erin lives happily with her mother Soyon, the village's chief Touda doctor. But when a terrible accident occurs under Soyon's care-involving the Grand Duke's prized Touda-their peaceful life shatters. Soyon faces harsh punishment, and in her desperate effort to save her mother, Erin is swept away by a river and carried into Shin-Ou. Stranded far from home, Erin must adapt to an unfamiliar life among strangers. As tensions between the two provinces rise, she finds herself searching for the truth-not just about the beasts she once knew, but about the people around her, and the conflict that threatens to consume them all.
