The Ambition of Oda Nobuna - S01

High school student Yoshiharu Sagara suddenly wakes up in the middle of a violent battle from Japan’s chaotic Sengoku period. He’s rescued by the famous warrior Hideyoshi Toyotomi, but the hero dies protecting him. With his final words, Hideyoshi begs Yoshiharu to take his place as a feudal lord. Realizing history has already been altered, Yoshiharu vows to prevent further changes-but his mission becomes even more complicated when he saves Nobuna Oda and learns she’s actually a female version of the legendary warlord Nobunaga Oda. To his shock, he’s in a world where most of Japan’s historical figures are now young women. Determined to fix history and return home, Yoshiharu joins Nobuna as her retainer, helping her in her campaign to unite Japan. His knowledge of the past, gained from playing the strategy game "Nobunaga’s Ambition," lets him foresee key events and influence battles. Using this advantage to support Nobuna and her formidable generals, Yoshiharu works to achieve her ambitions and maybe even win the affection of these extraordinary women.
