Texhnolyze - S01

The underground city of Lux is a grim place, ruled by violent gangs and cut off from the surface world. Its people live in fear, their lives revolving around the mining of "raffia"-the city's sole reason for existing. This rare substance is used to create "texhnolyze" implants, cybernetic body replacements that don't trigger rejection in their hosts. The "Class," a shadowy organization controlling raffia production, delegates its authority to a group called Organo, led by Keigo Oonishi-a man with texhnolyzed legs who supposedly hears the "voice of the city." The fragile peace among Lux's factions shatters when Kazuho Yoshii, a mysterious outsider, stirs up conflict with a string of crimes. Amid the chaos, two new figures emerge: Ichise, a former boxer mutilated by Organo and given texhnolyze prosthetics by Eriko "Doc" Kamata, and Ran, a young florist with visions of the future. As Lux spirals into madness, both are drawn into the city's most devastating crisis yet.
