takt op.Destiny - S01

The United States has been in turmoil since the appearance of D2s, invasive creatures that emerged from a black meteorite. To curb their attacks-triggered by music-the government banned all melodies, a rule still enforced in 2047. Humanity's only defense lies in Musicarts, young women embodying classical compositions, and their Controllers, the Conductors who command them. Takt Asahina, a detached piano prodigy, becomes a Conductor after a sudden D2 assault. The attack also claims the life of Anna Schneider's sister, Cosette, and binds Takt to his Musicart, Destiny. Seeking to stabilize their uneasy partnership, Takt, Destiny, and Anna set out for New York City's Symphonica Headquarters. Takt is desperate to reach the city, longing to play the piano again despite the danger his passion invites. Destiny's unwavering sense of duty, however, keeps pulling the group into peril. With a road riddled with D2s and countless challenges ahead, their journey is anything but safe. Can the three of them survive long enough to reach their destination?
