Skate-Leading Stars - S01

Kensei Maeshima was once a child prodigy in figure skating, but he walked away from the sport when his rival, Reo Shinozaki, refused to acknowledge his talent. Now attending Inodai High School, Kensei lends his athletic abilities to various sports teams without ever committing to one. When Reo unexpectedly leaves singles skating to join St. Clavis Gakuin High School-last year's reigning Grand Prix champions-as a skate-leading competitor, Kensei is spurred into action. Hayato Sasugai, a classmate with an unexplained tie to Reo, persuades Kensei to take up skate-leading and finally challenge his rival head-on. However, Kensei’s arrival at the Inodai Skate-Leading Club doesn’t go smoothly. Despite his impressive skills as a solo skater, he struggles with teamwork-a critical part of skate-leading. His impulsive nature, erratic performances, and past conflicts with some teammates make it hard for them to accept him as their "Lead." But if they want any chance of qualifying for the Grand Prix Finals and taking on St. Clavis Gakuin, they’ll have to find a way to overcome their differences and work together.
