Simoun - S01
シムーン , Shimuun, Simoon
The lush, peaceful land of Simulacrum rests on the planet of Daikuuriku. Its survival depends on flying vessels known as Simoun and their sacred pilots, the Sibyllas. These machines, fueled by ancient relics, wield the devastating power of Ri Maajon - abilities strong enough to rend the heavens. Aaeru, a stubborn young girl, becomes a Sibylla priestess at Chor Tempest, dreaming of one day piloting a Simoun. But shortly after her arrival, war engulfs Simulacrum as rival nations fight to seize the technology for themselves. Facing ruin, these desperate lands believe the Simoun hold the power to avert catastrophe. Now, the girls of Chor Tempest must confront enemies and personal tragedies while struggling to adapt. If they hope to uncover the truth behind their country's greatest secrets - the Simoun and Ri Maajon - they have no choice but to endure.
