Silent Möbius
In a futuristic Tokyo, a group of policewomen battle a strange monster. Among them is Katsumi Liqueur, an American-born woman of Japanese descent, who realizes she recognizes the creature from somewhere. Katsumi had come to Tokyo to visit her hospitalized mother, Fuyuka, but when her taxi gets stuck in traffic, she takes a shortcut through an alley-only to stumble upon the monster and two officers fighting it. Soon after, she meets their chief, Rally Cheyenne, who acts as if she already knows Katsumi, though they’ve never met. The policewomen urge Katsumi to help them against the monster, but she refuses, unwilling to accept that magic could be real.
