Sarazanmai - S01

When the noble Kappa Kingdom is conquered by the Otter Empire, Prince Keppi is left powerless against the unseen Kapa-zombies-creations of the Otters that embody people's deepest desires. With no options left, he turns to three boys for help: Kazuki Yasaka, who carries a mysterious box at all times; Enta Jinnai, Kazuki's childhood friend; and Tooi Kuji, a delinquent who skips school. By having their shirikodama-a mythical organ-removed, the boys gain the ability to transform into Kappa and battle the Kapa-zombies. But to succeed, they must forge a deep connection through their minds, bodies, and, most crucially, their secrets. As the fate of the Kappa Kingdom rests on them, the boys must expose parts of themselves they've never shared before, learning just how fragile and precious true bonds can be.
