Corporate badminton isn't as simple as it looks. Mikoto Shiratori was once a child prodigy, but his career at Mitsuhoshi Bank's badminton team has fallen short of expectations. After a past incident, he tries switching from doubles to singles-but his poor results disappoint his employers, leading to his dismissal. Now recruited by the Sunlight Beverage team, Mikoto faces an unexpected reality: practices are held in the evenings, while his days are spent working in the company's sales department. He assumed he'd be hired purely as an athlete, but this dual role is standard. Worse, despite his resistance, he's pushed back into playing doubles. As Mikoto struggles to adapt, he questions whether joining Sunlight Beverage was the right move. Yet as he gets to know his new teammates, he may discover the motivation he needs to revive his badminton career.
