Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts - S01
贄姫と獣の王
At the edge of the world lies the Kingdom of Ozmargo, a land ruled by a nameless, fearsome king and inhabited by all manner of beasts. After a century-long war with the neighboring human kingdom, a fragile peace was struck-one that demands an annual sacrifice: a human to be devoured by the king on the night of revelation. Sariphi, the 99th sacrifice, appears frail but shows no fear of the king. With no family or home to return to, she has no reason to flee her fate. Curious about her boldness, the king allows her to wander the palace, much to the dismay of his advisor, Anubis. As the king and Sariphi slowly grow closer, the night of revelation draws near. What neither of them realizes is that this fateful night will set in motion events that will alter not just their lives, but the future of both their worlds.
