SABIKUI BISCO - S01

Japan lies in ruins after a cataclysmic disaster, reduced to an endless wasteland of sand. A bizarre rusting disease plagues the few survivors, and the government blames it all on mushroom spores-spread by the so-called "Man-Eating Mushroom," Bisco Akaboshi. But Bisco tells a different story. He’s actually a "Mushroom Protector," hunting for the mythical "Sabikui" mushroom, believed to be the only cure for the rusting disease. Traveling with his massive crab Akutagawa and the gentle doctor Milo Nekoyanagi-who seeks a treatment for his poisoned sister-Bisco faces scorn and suspicion from the people he’s trying to save. Still, he presses on, determined to heal the world’s decay.
