Record of Grancrest War - S01

The continent of Atlatan is once again engulfed in war following the Great Hall Tragedy-a horrific event that shattered hopes for peace. The marriage of Sir Alexis Douse and Lady Marrine Kreische, meant to unite the Fantasia Union and the Factory Alliance, ended in disaster when "Chaos," a corrupting energy from another dimension, erupted during the ceremony. From the Chaos emerged the Demon Lord of Diabolos, who slaughtered the archdukes of both factions, leaving the land in turmoil. Siluca Meletes, an Alliance mage who failed to stop the tragedy, journeys through the Chaos-ridden countryside to study under a master magician. When Federation soldiers attack her, she is saved by Theo Cornaro, a young warrior marked by a magical "Crest" that can repel Chaos. Theo, unbound by any faction, seeks to become a Lord so he can free his hometown of Sistina from both a tyrant and the encroaching Chaos. Moved by his resolve, Siluca forms a magical pact with him, and together they set out to bring peace to their ravaged land.
