On a calm, ordinary day, the sky suddenly tears open, and mysterious creatures from another dimension-called the Unknown-launch a sudden, devastating assault on humanity. To ensure the survival of the next generation, all of Japan’s children are placed in cryogenic sleep, hidden away until the war’s end. Years later, humanity has managed to reclaim a small part of Japan, now the war’s frontline. With the immediate threat of extinction lifted, the children are awakened-only to discover they have gained "Worlds," unique supernatural abilities that developed during their frozen slumber. The six strongest among them are put in charge of the reclaimed cities, using their powers to hold the line against the Unknown’s relentless attacks. Ichiya Suzaku and his childhood friend Canaria Utara lead Tokyo, while siblings Kasumi and Asuha Chigusa govern Chiba, and Maihime Tenkawa and Hotaru Rindou oversee Kanagawa. As the Unknown’s attacks become predictable, tensions rise between the three cities, fueled by petty rivalries and clashing personalities among their leaders. But when the Unknown suddenly intensify their assault, the city heads must find a way to put aside their differences and unite-or risk losing humanity’s final defense.
