Playground - S01

Naho is an eleven-year-old girl living with her father and her two-year-old brother, Jun. Since their mother passed away after Jun’s birth, Naho has had to take on the responsibility of caring for him. Naturally, this weighs on her-a girl her age longs to play with friends, but Jun’s needs always come first. One day, a strange man in a long coat appears before her, carrying a large suitcase. He calls himself "Kotaro the Dreamball Dealer" and offers to whisk her away to a dreamland, free from her daily struggles. But after meeting him, odd things start happening to Naho. Suddenly, she’s laughing with friends, then drifting through shifting worlds. For a moment, she’s reunited with her father and mother, just the three of them again-until unease creeps in, and she stumbles into Jun’s dream instead. Lost and unsure, Naho wonders what to ask Kotaro. What does she truly want, deep down?
