Outbreak Company - S01

Shinichi Kanou is a reclusive otaku with an encyclopedic knowledge of anime, manga, and games. Hoping to break free from his isolated life, he applies for a job-only to be kidnapped and sent to the Eldant Empire, a fantasy world teeming with elves, dragons, and dwarves. Stranded there, the Japanese government assigns him an unusual role: to act as an "Otaku Missionary" and spread otaku culture throughout the realm. With backing from Japan and help from his unlikely allies-Myucel, a half-elf maid, and Princess Petralka of the Eldant Empire-Shinichi must navigate political tensions, class divides, and racial prejudice to bring otaku traditions to this foreign world.
