Okko's Inn

Oriko "Okko" Seki is dragged to a festival in her parents' rural hometown against her will, only to face a devastating loss-her parents die in a car crash shortly after their arrival. Forced to live at her grandmother's traditional hot springs inn, Okko is startled to meet the ghost of a barefoot child who lives there. The ghost urges her to embrace her grandmother's legacy and take over the inn someday. At first, Okko struggles with the demands of running the inn and tending to guests. But remembering her parents' words-that an inn should be a welcoming place for all-she pushes forward to honor them. As she encounters more spirits in the village, Okko realizes that even without her parents, she isn't truly alone.
