Nyan Koi! - S01

Junpei Kousaka is a second-year high school student with a severe cat allergy-a condition that has made him despise cats and anything associated with them. To his frustration, he’s constantly surrounded by cat lovers, from his family to his estranged childhood friend and even his crush, Kaede Mizuno. One afternoon, on his way home from school, Junpei casually tries to kick an empty can into the trash but misses badly. Instead of landing in the garbage, the can smashes the head off a statue of a cat deity. That moment marks the beginning of his curse: he gains the ability to understand what cats say. But he must keep this power a secret-if anyone finds out, they’ll become just as unlucky as him, prone to constant accidents. Now, with the reluctant help of his own cat, Nyamsus, Junpei has no choice but to perform a hundred good deeds for cats to break the curse. If he fails, he’ll turn into a cat himself-and given his allergy, that transformation would be fatal.
