"Manie-Manie: Meikyuu Monogatari" is an anthology film featuring three short stories directed by Rintaro, Yoshiaki Kawajiri, and Katsuhiro Otomo. "Labyrinth Labyrinthos" Sachi is looking for her lost cat, Cicerone, when they both tumble through a mirror into a strange, disorienting labyrinth. Drawn by the shadow of a clown, they wander deeper into the maze with no idea where it might take them. "Running Man" Bob Stone, a journalist, is writing a story about Zack Hugh, the long-reigning champion of a brutal and highly popular car race. But when Bob finally meets Zack, he finds the racer physically and mentally broken. As the next race begins, Bob witnesses the toll it takes on both man and machine-and what it truly means to remain a champion. "The Order to Stop Construction" Tsutomo Sugioka, a company employee, is sent to a hazardous jungle to shut down a construction project after the foreman vanishes. He soon encounters a chaotic world ruled by out-of-control robotic builders. When the lead robot refuses his commands, Tsutomo must find another way to halt the project before his company suffers irreversible losses.
