Natsume's Book of Friends - S04

Natsume gets separated from Nyanko-sensei and is suddenly ambushed by a group of strange, masked youkai resembling monkeys. They kidnap him and take him deep into their forest, frantically searching for the Book of Friends. When Nyanko-sensei realizes his "servant" has been snatched away right in front of him, he rallies Natsume's youkai allies to mount a rescue. But the monkey spirits' forest is full of threats, including the Matoba Clan, Natsume's longtime foes. The journey takes them from the Matoba's stronghold to Natsume's childhood home, weaving through danger and old bonds. In this return to a world of peril and camaraderie, Natsume must face the lingering shadows of his past.
