Atsuhiro "Akkun" Kagari is painfully shy, but he somehow managed to win over the kind and affectionate Non Katagiri. His embarrassment keeps him from showing his feelings openly-even simple gestures like giving a compliment or sharing a kiss make him freeze up. Instead, he acts cold and rude toward her in everyday situations. But deep down, Akkun is hopelessly in love. He expresses it in his own strange ways, like secretly following Katagiri to take photos of her or listening in on her conversations-effectively stalking his own girlfriend. Fortunately, Katagiri thinks his behavior is adorable and understands he doesn’t truly mean the harsh things he says. Their friend Masago Matsuo might find their relationship a little weird, but Katagiri wouldn’t have Akkun any other way. She loves her grumpy sweetheart just as he is.
