When her boyfriend dumps her for someone else, college student Akane Kinoshita struggles with heartbreak and the lingering traces of their past. To cope, she logs into "Forest of Savior," the MMO they once played together, and hatches a plan for revenge at an upcoming in-game event. But her scheme takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Akito Yamada, a gaming legend and fellow guild member. Needing an ally, Akane drags the reclusive Yamada into her plot and leans on him for emotional support. Though they couldn’t be more different, their time together-both in-game and out-reveals hidden sides to each other. As they grow closer, their hesitant friendship might just evolve into something neither of them saw coming.
