"Daddy Long Legs" is adapted from Jean Webster's novel of the same name. It follows Judy Abbott, an orphan living in New York, whose life changes when a mysterious benefactor offers her a scholarship during a meeting with the superintendent and other wealthy attendees. Judy only sees the man's tall shadow as he departs, leading her to nickname him "Daddy Long Legs." As part of his conditions, she writes him monthly letters. While attending Lincoln Memorial school, Judy forms friendships and discovers a world far beyond her previous experiences.
