Mushi-Shi - S01

The countryside falls still at midday as people gather to watch a rare solar eclipse-rumored to let ordinary people glimpse the mysterious Mushi. The air hums with awe as no one can look away, but those familiar with the Mushi brace for what comes after. Guided by a warning from Tanyuu Karibusa, the cursed recorder, Mushishi Ginko arrives in an unlucky farming village. Right after the eclipse, a strange black cloud drifts across the sky, blotting out the sun again. Ginko suspects a Mushi called Hihami is responsible and tries to free the village from endless darkness. Yet some villagers seem reluctant to let the light return.
