Mr. Stain

"Mr. Stain," also called "Ga-Ra-Ku-Ta: Mr. Stain on Junk Alley," is a CGI anime series created and directed by Ryuji Masuda, with Shunsuke Koga as producer and Wakako Masuda handling character designs. The show follows surreal adventures in a cluttered junk alley, with each roughly seven-minute episode starting as Mr. Stain discovers an object-the title of each episode matches the item he finds. There’s no spoken dialogue, only music and sound effects. The credits list the characters who appeared by name in English, followed by a playful dance sequence. Produced by FUNimation Entertainment, the series first aired late on December 31, 2002, in Japan, with regular broadcasts starting January 6, 2003, on Kids Station at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. It also aired in Brazil on Cartoon Network. FUNimation included episodes as bonus content on other DVDs, where they gained popularity, leading to a dedicated DVD release for the U.S. and Canada.
