Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit - S01
The Shin Yogo Empire faces a devastating drought, and its Star Readers search for a solution. According to ancient myths, the land was saved long ago when the first emperor and eight warriors killed a water demon to end a similar crisis. Now, if a water demon appears again, its death might bring salvation. But when the demon takes form within Prince Chagum, the emperor orders his own son's sacrifice to spare the empire. Elsewhere, a wandering mercenary named Balsa arrives in Shin Yogo. After foiling an attempt on Chagum's life, she is secretly hired by his mother to protect him from the emperor’s hunters. Bound by a solemn vow from her past, Balsa agrees. "Seirei no Moribito" follows Balsa and Chagum as they journey together, discovering the beauty of life, nature, and the unexpected bonds that form between them.
