Mononoke

A mysterious occult expert known as the Medicine Seller wanders feudal Japan, hunting down evil spirits called "mononoke." But he can't just destroy them-to wield his Exorcism Sword, he must first uncover each spirit's Form, Truth, and Reason. This forces him into perilous investigations, delving into the psychology and history of the mononoke before he can fight them. Every exorcism begins as a dangerous gamble, as he must face these spirits without any power to defeat them until he fully understands their nature.
