Momokuri - S01

Yuki Kurihara, a high school sophomore, has spent months secretly taking photos of her crush-first-year student Shinya "Momo" Momotsuki-and watching him from a distance. Now, she’s finally worked up the nerve to confess. Though surprised, the shy Momo agrees to date her. What he doesn’t realize is just how unusual Yuki’s behavior really is. As her sensible friend Norika Mizuyama has noticed, Yuki’s devotion comes with unsettling yet genuine quirks: sneaking pictures of Momo, digging into his personal life, hoarding his used straws, and even stalking him under the guise of "Momo watching." Momo, oblivious to his girlfriend’s strange habits, does pick up on some odd moments in their conversations. New to romance and still unsure of himself, he often fumbles through awkward interactions but stays determined to make Yuki happy. "Momokuri" follows the tentative steps of these two as they navigate their budding relationship-along with the complications that come with it.
