Kenji and his younger sister Yuki live together in the same house, often left alone due to their parents' frequent absences. Yuki secretly harbors feelings for her older brother. One day, a girl named Hiyori suddenly appears from the closet in Kenji’s room-her body strangely transparent, almost ghostlike. She turns out to be a childhood friend from their past. As Kenji and Hiyori grow closer, Yuki becomes deeply unsettled. She remembers a painful childhood memory: a much younger Kenji once received an unwanted ring from a toy dispenser and refused to part with it unless he got a yo-yo in return. Hiyori, desperate to be his bride and seeing the ring as a symbol of that, managed to get him the yo-yo-but before she could claim the ring, she had to suddenly move away. She entrusted the yo-yo to Yuki to pass on to Kenji, but the ring was never given to Hiyori, breaking a promise between them. Now, with Hiyori’s unexpected reappearance, it seems the unresolved events of their childhood are somehow connected to her return.
