Mieruko-chan - S01

Miko Yotsuya's eyes sting as she stares at a fixed point on her phone, refusing to acknowledge the grotesque monster inches from her face, whispering, "Can you see me?" Until recently, Miko lived an ordinary high school life, treating late-night horror shows as mere entertainment. But now, she alone can see the invisible horrors lurking among humans. Determined, Miko vows never to react to these terrifying specters, no matter what. Yet even as she pretends they don’t exist, she can’t ignore how they torment those around her-especially her cheerful best friend, Hana Yurikawa. To shield others from the monsters' torment, Miko pushes through her fear, forcing herself to carry on with school life while dodging every unsettling encounter-even when they leave her trembling and tearful.
