Michiko & Hatchin - S01

Under the scorching South American sun, hardened criminal Michiko Malandro escapes from a high-security prison for the fourth time, determined to track down a man from her past. Her search leads her to Hana Morenos, a young girl suffering under the abuse of her foster family. Hana dreams of being rescued by a Prince Charming, never expecting her savior to be a brash, muscular convict who bursts in on a stolen motorcycle-claiming to be her mother. Together, the mismatched pair pursues their dreams across the sun-baked streets of Diamandra, confronting betrayal, poverty, and the dark underbelly of child exploitation lurking in plain sight. But Michiko’s quest doesn’t go unnoticed-the ruthless criminal syndicate Monstro Preto catches wind of her hunt, stirring up a looming gang war. "Michiko & Hatchin" is a tale of vibrant, clashing lives, bound together by the search for one elusive man and the unexpected connections forged along the way.
