ふしぎなメルモ , Fushigi na Merumo, Marvelous Melmo
After a car accident takes their mother’s life, nine-year-old Melmo Watari is left to care for her two little brothers-preschooler Totoo and baby Touch. From Heaven, their mother watches over them, worried about their struggles. Wanting to help one last time, she returns as a ghost and gives Melmo a jar of magical candies. These candies let Melmo change her age by 10 years or transform into any animal. Using these powers, she disguises herself as a 19-year-old woman to look after her brothers while still trying to live an ordinary life.
