Mars Daybreak - S01

Mars has become a world almost entirely covered in water, forcing humanity to live aboard massive city-ships that drift across its endless oceans. Life is tough on Mars-the economy is crumbling, jobs are scarce, and food is both expensive and precious. Gram and his friends struggle to get by as opportunities keep vanishing. Some have turned to piracy to fight back against the corrupt government, with the infamous Ship of Aurora leading the charge. Meanwhile, Earth's ruling government has sent a new squad of military pilots to Mars, armed with specialized mecha known as Round Bucklers, to hunt down these pirates and restore order. By chance, Gram ends up tangled with the most feared pirates on Mars, forced to flee alongside them. But there's a twist-he’s beginning to enjoy their company.
